III – GENESIS

Starting almost 50 years prior to ‘Hybris’, GENESIS follows the fate of a young girl through her childhood and adolescence all the way into adulthood in the unforgiving environment of a newly colonized world. The girl is IJLOUHZ (LU) VVALOA, Ynya’s mother. She is the youngest of four daughters, born into a destitute family of farm hands. Though small and weak her entire life, anyone who meets her immediately notices, she is extremely gifted and stubborn. In a joint effort her family finds a way to get her to study at the, at the time only, university of Aeyuna.

Eternally driven she paths her own way against all odds and becomes one of the leading pioneers developing a new branch of the sciences: EVOLUTIONARY ENGINEERING

Once her work group is finally successful an creates the very first HYBRID ORGANISMS, Lu begins to doubt what they are doing. She begins to fear her own creation, tries to destroy her teams work and becomes one of its fiercest opponents. But her reckoning comes to late. Her former colleagues publish their findings and the new technology spreads like wildfire. Lu is laughed off by society. Broken and full of guilty feelings she deserts her family and chooses the life of a hermit. Meanwhile the fate of mankind has already been sealed. The uncontrollable EVOLUTION OF MACHINES has already begun.
